MY 2ND YEAR COLLEGE JOURNEY
ARTS
Drawing as a form of art is not my cup of tea. But this school year taught me on how to be flexible and that pushed me to go out of my comfort zone. The photo above is my drawing and was digitally-processed as part of the requirements in one of our major subjects.
ONLINE CLASS
Ever since the onset of the pandemic, schools were forced to transition from the traditional face to face classes to blended learning. In my case, I regularly attend our asynchronous sessions because I get to see the faces my classmates on the screen. However, sometimes I have to switch off my video due to the internet connectivity concerns which I believe is one of the major problems of students as well as teachers in delivering onlince class

ACHIEVEMENT
At first, I am doubting myself if I can really make it in college. I have a lot of things to consider including financial matters. But no matter what, my parents pushed me to enroll. In order to help them, I did my best to get the resident scholarship awarded to academically-achieving students which I never failed since Day 1.
REPORTING
As part of the training to becoming a professional teacher, our professors let us do the reporting for the assigned topics assigned to us. By this way, we are able to practice our communication skills that is much needed in the profession.
SPORTS
I am not a sporty person indeed due to my health concerns back when I was a child. I had an asthma that is why the doctors forbidden me to do sports. But our Physical Education subject forced me to try out sports as part of our requirements. No need to worry about my health condition, I know my limitations. :)
VIDEO PROJECT
The College of Teacher Education of USANT and this online learning set-up challenged me a lot of times. Ever since the start of the online classes, we are not allowed to go to the school to perform practical activities therefore, we are required to do our practical activities through video recorded materials. This will not only challenge your skills in media production but also it will require you critical and creative thinking to come up with the best ideas.
